His inspirations range from his family’s blue-collar upbringing to his love of animation of artists such as Ralph Bakshi & Rene Laloux.
The sum of Albert’s influences & his self-proclaimed search for: “someone I wasn’t even looking for in a place I can’t imagine” fuels the cinematic songwriting of his first single “LoveLoveLove” and the rest of his “Love Love Love” EP. The transfusion of sounds and ideas created by Albert Vargas & Mr. Familiar, builds on the collected assimilation of genre’s to develop what has become an album with no audible boundaries. This is merely a peak into the mind of a Free Lover.
